Charmed Comics

It was by accident when I came across "Charmed Comics."  I was looking up some information on Melinda Prudence Halliwell   and saw the comic panel of young Melinda. That instant snatched  my attention and wanted to know more about this format. The comics series is was published by Zenescope and it was launched March 15, 2010.

The story took place a year and a half after "Forever Charmed."

I was reading through some of the posted storyline excerpts and I'm very happy that the comics writers brought back previous innocents such as Brittany Reynolds and Tyler Micheals.  I think it would be an absolute thrill to call back established characters seen from the series because for me, it can only expand the world of Charmed that wasn't made possible for the TV series to do.  I hope the writers will bring more characters from the past seasons whether good or bad into their story arcs. I wonder if the 7th son of the 7th child will make an appearance. ☺

As usual, the seventh issue "The Heir Up There" with Leo and Piper on cover piqued my curiosity. I hope the comics will find it's way here and the Sourcebook.

  1. I'm sure the resources will be useful for you X The moment I saw the Charmed comic ads, I was immediately "charmed" by them and began checking the fan site for news and updates. Stunning illustration, yes! That Piper-Leo cover was very emotive. Love it. They should also have one with Phoebe-Coop and Paige-Henry. The Charmed Ones and their men ;)

I followed the summary of each issue - so they're about to have Phoebe giving birth to her remaining 2 daughters and Paige to her son in future issues. Nice to hv the next gen coming on. Lovely recurring guests - I remember Tyler and Brittany - and they even got Billie there :D

  2. I read they'll be doing an issue entitled, "Oh, Henry." It's still half of the series of run, so we could see more the men.

  3. Can't wait to find out what names they'll give to Phoebe's new daughters when they're born. I wonder why the original show producers never bothered to name the girls, seems like only the three guys get proper names. They could've devoted the time to do the same to all of them. That being said, it's great to see different Charmed fandom writers play w/ their imagination.
